The MS Research Center's programs are dedicated to developing treatments and a cure for MS. Our work focuses on four key research objectives:

• Understanding what causes and triggers MS
• Understanding the mechanisms of disease progression and severity
• Developing more effective treatments to combat MS and its symptoms
• Developing a stem cell biology-based program of neural repair and regeneration

The MS Research Center's scientists apply sophisticated systems and technologies in state-of-the-art laboratories to reveal the nature of MS at its most basic level. As an academic facility, the Research Center provides educational and training resources for MS researchers and medical professionals.
